Home & Business Organization/Decluttering:

All of my clients looking to declutter and organize their home and offices would need this two-phase service. See below for an idea of what our sessions would look like.

(PHASE 1)

Hourly Rate: $105 | 4 Hour Minimum

What's Included:

  • An email questionnaire: I'll ask you for pictures of your space, questions about your space, and you will have the opportunity to provide me with inspirational pictures and design preferences if applicable to your project.

  • A complete applicable measurement of your space including cabinetry, drawers, and shelving to provide accurate space planning and material sourcing.

  • A thorough consultation and walk-through of your space where you will provide me with your current routines, and share what is not working in the space. We will begin the process of categorizing and going through your items together.

  • A custom Design Plan that includes a mockup of your space(s) and shows you what to buy and where to put it. The design plan allows you to see a professional visual of what your space will look like after the project is complete.

  • If there's time, we can begin decluttering and organizing your space to get a head start on the next phase of the process.

Note: Larger projects will require more time and planning, and therefore might require an extended timeline for completion.

(PHASE 2)

This is the follow up session to phase 1 in my home organization/decluttering process. Clients would first need to complete phase 1 to move onto phase 2 of the process.

Hourly Rate: $105 | 3 Hour Minimum

After our initial session together, you may want my help implementing the Design Plan and getting your space fully organized! This 3-hour time window is fully custom and tailored to your organizational needs. You can choose to work with me to save time and money, or you can direct me to work solo. In either case, I am eager to help get your space functioning beautifully for you.

Important Notes:

  • Some clients need only one session, while others may need several sessions. 
  • In some cases, we will need to bring additional helping hands or rent a roll-off dumpster. The pricing for these services will depend on your unique project needs and the current rental pricing available.

Move Management Session:

Hourly Rate: $105 | 4 Hour Minimum

Moving, packing, and unpacking can be draining and chaotic! Let me help you create a positive experience so that you can feel more at home and less worried about all the clutter when you move in!

This service is great for:

  • Downsizing
  • Staging your home to sell
  • Life transitions
  • Remodeling
  • Organizing, packing, and labeling items for a move
  • Unpacking items in your new home
  • Managing your move from start to finish

Decluttering/Organization Session:

This service is available to my existing clients.

Hourly Rate: $105 | 3 Hour Minimum

Some clients might find it helpful for me to come one time or on a semi-regular basis to declutter with them and help keep their spaces looking great. This service is great for:

  • Preparing for events/holidays
  • General decluttering & organization
  • Keeping spaces clean and organized.
  • Life transitions

Interior Design Session:

Hourly Rate: $105 | 4 Hour Minimum

  • Seasonal Decorating
  • Event Design

Client Brainstorm Session:

Hourly Rate: $150 | 1 Hour

This is for existing clients who:

  • have changing needs and want help restructuring, reorganizing, or changing a current space.
  • who need some extra time with me to work through creating new systems or implementing some new changes into their current systems.
  • who have the time and energy to work solo and want some ideas for how to arrange a space but don’t need me to come and do it for them.

FAQ's

What is included when booking you for a session?

We supply trashbags, boxes (when needed), post its, paper, pens, sharpies, tape, etc. My session includes dropping off donations to Goodwill (one carload) after each appointment when applicable. I will email you a copy of the receipt. You will need to dispose of any garbage accumulated (I will provide trash bags). Time for additional services such as trash disposal, recycling, or project-related purchases will be billed at my hourly rate (pre-approved by you).

What are your payment options?

I require a payment of 50% of your session at least a week in advance of your appointment. We will send you an invoice via quickbooks. We accept cash, checks, and debit/credit cards. Electronic checks are preferred.

Do you offer Interior Design services?

Yes! If you would like additional Interior Design services beyond the spaces we are organizing, please let me know so I can learn more about your project and send you a custom quote. Whether you need assistance designing a room, decorating, or selecting fixtures and furniture, I can help!

How do I prepare for our first session?

Please do not organize or buy storage containers or supplies in preparation for our session together. When I arrive, I will assess your space and we will discuss your routines. It is most helpful for me to see your space "lived in" and see where items are getting placed naturally.

What's your cancellation policy?

Last minute cancellations negatively impact my small business and schedule as I have blocked out time just for you and am booked out in advance. I require a 72 hour notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment that is less than 3 hours, unless it is a medical emergency. For large projects that require more than our standard 3 hour sessions, I will need a week's notice to cancel or reschedule.

What should I expect when you come for our first session?

When I arrive, you will walk me through your space and we will discuss your current routines. We will go over your goals again and talk about what’s working and what isn’t working in more detail. I will take measurements of the space, and record what items you have in the space now that need organizing. If there is time, we will begin categorizing/purging/organizing your items. We will not be able to get everything done in one day, but it is possible we can make a big dent together! After leaving your home, I will begin working on your Design Plan, and send it to you within a few days. Your Design Plan includes a map of your space as well as organizational solutions including what to buy and where to buy it! 

What’s a Design Plan?

The Design Plan is an action plan which outlines your space and tells you what to buy, where to buy it, and where to put it! It simplifies the organizational process and gives us both a roadmap of where things should be placed. At this point in the process, you will have the ability to purchase my recommended storage solutions and put it all in place yourself or If you would like my help to implement the Design Plan, you would need to schedule a follow up session with me. 

Do I have to buy storage containers?

No! While I routinely recommend containers and storage solutions to keep clutter at bay on flat surfaces, I know some clients would like to use what they have already. Whatever your budget or preferences, we can work together to make a Design Plan that fits your needs and budget.

Do you accept payment plans?

I do accept payment plans on a case-by-case basis, and we can also split up our sessions from month to month to help spread the cost over time. Please reach out so I can learn more about your situation and how I can help!

Why should I choose your services over other professional organizers?

I hold an Associate’s degree in Interior Design, demonstrating a deep and more comprehensive investment in time and training than a certificate or course alone. That means I am fully trained in Interior Design fundamentals and principles, space planning, materials, construction documents, and interior decorating. I spent several years of my life learning and mastering Interior Design and continue to stay up to date with the latest and greatest in professional organization and trends. When organizing your space, I am strategizing creative solutions that go beyond mere organization. I consider many variables such as item categorization, use and frequency, placement, color, and interior decorating principles for a harmonious space.  

Why is the first session more expensive than follow up sessions? 

The first session price includes extra time built in for me to measure and analyze your space, strategize storage solutions, and create your unique Design Plan. Depending on the project size, I may need to schedule extra time for mapping your space and creating your design plan. As a trained interior designer, I am thinking beyond mere organization and am analyzing your space and how it is used, categorizing items and spaces by use and frequency, and considering colors, shapes, and design principles for a harmonious design.
